Artist Biography
Based in Gloucestershire, Yvonne is a coloured-pencil artist whose work explores the character, spirit and individuality of wildlife and animals. With a passion for drawing from an early age, she began working semi-professionally over 30 years ago, initially specialising in wildlife and pet portraits before developing focusing fully on wildlife, hares and horses. Her distinctive practice combines detailed observation with a quirky, imaginative interpretation of hare characters, resulting in unique artworks that are both engaging and expressive. Through a careful balance of realism and personality, Yvonne creates traditional pieces with a unique message that celebrate the charm and individuality of the natural world.
